JDT Islam College of Nursing , previously known as Calicut Nursing College was established in the year 2005 as a direct centre of University of Calicut. With the establishment of Kerala University Health and Alllied Sciences, our college was de linked from University of Calicut. From the academic year 2010-11 onwards it is functioning as an affiliated self financing nursing college under KUHS . Our College is recognized by both INC and KNMC.

JDT Islam Orphanage Committee ventured into field of Pharmacy education in 1996 with the commencement of Diploma in Pharmacy. Within a short time span it has become one of the most sought after pharmacy colleges in Kerala.

JDT Islam college of physiotherapy was established in 2005 as a Direct Centre of University of Calicut as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to conduct Bachelor of Physiotherapy program. From 2010-11 the college has been developed as an independent self -financing college and it is affiliated to the Kerala University Health Sciences, Thrissur.

HHM JDT Islam Polytechnic College is one of the most prestigious Polytechnic College in North Kerala. It was the first self-financing Polytechnic College to be sanctioned by the Government of Kerala. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.

JDT Islam College of Arts and Science established in 2005 is run by Jam’iyyat Da’wa Tablighul Islam, a charitable educational institution,established in 1922.It is one of the oldest and renowned orphanages in the Malabar region in the state of Kerala, India. It commenced functioning as an orphanage for the destitutes of the historical ‘Wagon Tragedy’ of Malabar rebellion during Colonial Regime.
